Paleontology Trip Day 2 - Tyler Holland and Andreas Cantu

To start off the exciting, adventurous, riveting trip, we played a nice game of luggage “Tetris” in the back of our van. Then we set off, only realizing something was left behind at school after being on the road for about 30 minutes. Take two of the trip began at about 9:45 and ran smoothly. After some random yelling and a lot of sleeping, we finally reached our lunch stop, “Collin Street Bakery”. We had a nice relaxing lunch with some tableside video blogging on Brandon’s GoPro and got back on the road. We decided to drive straight to the ranch with only one more stop for the bathroom and it went relatively fine. Some more yelling, some more sleeping, and the occasional 25 second stop at a historical landmark sign. Eventually, we made to the ranch, and let me tell you, this has to be one of the nicest places ever. On the outside, it looks like a rickety old house with a silo next to it, but when you walk inside it completely blows your mind, the silo is actually connected to the house and the house is not rickety or old in the inside. So it was a pretty big relief knowing we were not staying in the barn from one of the saw movies. We spent the rest of the night getting our rooms situated and plating outside, then we had an amazing bar-b-que dinner, played some ping-pong and relaxed for the rest of the night.
